Available Services
Working with General Practitioners in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, SOLVES Provides the following services for small animal pets:
Ultrasound:
- Abdominal – Includes discussion of the case, presenting complain and recommendations of the next possible steps that best fits the patient and client.
- Thoracic – Similarly, results are discussed relative to the patient history and concerns.
Ultrasound guided procedures:
- Fine needle aspirates - Depending on the patient temperament, we might or not need light sedation and/or preliminary tests (such as PT/PTT).
- Tru-cut biopsies (liver, kidney, abdominal masses) – Sedation or anesthesia is usually required and some preliminary test as well (PT/PTT, CBC).
Internal Medicine Consultation:
- We will discuss your clinical impression of the case, presenting complaint, I will examine the patient and review previous medical records and provide recommendations, and a written report.
Meet Dr De Witte
Dr. De Witte is a board-certified veterinary specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine. Dr. De Witte graduated from the Liege Veterinary school in Belgium, then moved to the USA to pursue her internship and internal medicine residency. Prior to pursuing her Internal Medicine specialty, Dr De Witte worked for more than 4 y as a general practitioner in New York, giving her the insight and understanding of the demands in general practice to provide the best options for client and their pets. Ultrasound and ultrasound-guided procedures have a passion for Dr De Witte's passion for many years. Dr De Witte provides high-quality imaging with excellent medical expertise to be able to provide the best recommendations for the pets' clinical presentation. Dr De Witte combines her passion for ultrasound and Internal Medicine to help local practitioners in their hospital setting to provide high quality medical recommendations that meets the clients and patients needs.
